NKP 2-8-4 #752 - Nickel Plate Road
Title:  NKP 2-8-4 #752 - Nickel Plate Road
Description:  This powerful Berkshire was built by Lima in March of 1944 as NKP #752. The high speed loco with it's 69" drivers was a strong roster member in passenger service and later to some extent, freight. After only 19 years of service, the loco was pulled and sold for scrap in November of 1963 to the Luntz Iron & Steel Company. This is a C.W. Burns photo.

NKP 752 Getting Serviced
Title:  NKP 752 Getting Serviced
Description:  A brave man this Nickel Plate Road employee is for wearing all white while serving a steam locomotive! Nickel Plate Road Berkshire #752 is seen getting service at the roundhouse in Bellevue, Ohio on Sunday August 18, 1957. I wonder if this man knew that the end of steam on the Nickel Plate was about to end forever in about a year's time. Photo by James Pope.
